- Back deck with rural outlook look for kangaroos
- Feed the resident Kookaburra's & parrots
- Close to cafe's, restaurants and shops.
- Watch the dolphins / whales from the beach or various lookout.
- Enjoy the Kookaburras & parrots, (and the occasional goanna or kangaroo) from the back deck.
- BYO hammocks we have 2 sets of hooks.
- Take a walk along Blueys Beach before breakfast, you may see dolphins.
- Boomerang Beach lookout off Headland Road
- Blueys Beach lookout off Banksia St, for surf checking or sunset BYO drinks
- Night time walk along Blueys Beach & check out the stars (millions of them)
- Spend the day at: - Elizabeth Beach (patrolled). Surf Blueys or Boomerang Beach enjoy the rock pools.
- Shelly Beach trail, sheltered pretty beach,….. clothes optional.
- Pacific Palms Markets at The Recky Club, the last Sunday of every month.

- Breakfast at Kembali Cafe. Dinner (bookings absolutely required Friday & Saturday night, closed Sunday night)
- Food Works Supermarket at Charlotte Bay 1km away
- Moby’s Beachside (also dinner) at Boomerang Beach or Frothy Coffee Shop at Smiths Lake (also has paddle boat hire)
- Fish & Chips for dinner from the local shops (remember it closes at 7pm) or pizza at Hueys at Blueys.
- Have sunset drinks at the Recreation Club, followed by Bistro dinner (courtesy bus available gold coin donation, call them on 02 6554 0207) $1 Oysters on Sundays.
Take a scenic drive: -
- Drive to Seal Rock, walk up to the lighthouse, awesome views, look out for whales or large pods of dolphins. Take a picnic. Spend the rest of the day at Seal Rock Beach or bays near caravan park.
- Whoota Whoota lookout, sensational views if it’s a clear day, access from Coomba Park Rd is 4wd weather permitting, return or entry by Sugar Creek Rd is 2wd.
- The Grandis NSW tallest tree with picnic area, off The Lakes way.
- Check out the Green Cathedral on Wallis Lake
- Rainforest boardwalk Sandbar to Ceiito beach & Smiths Lake.
- 4wd beach driving on Celito with a permit. 9 hole Golf course at Sandbar.
Drive to local towns.
- Forster: - break wall trail. Enjoy coffee in town along scenic walk at inlet. Boat hire & tours.
- Cape Hawke Lookout, Bennett’s Head Lookout & Bicentennial Walks at Forster.
- One Mile Beach giant Sand dune access from Bennetts Head Lookout trail
- Tenpin Bowling, Aquatic Centre, or movies at Tuncurry
- Supermarkets Coles, Woolworths, Aldi & Kmart. Stocklands Mall shopping at Forster.
- For bargain hunters Life Line at Breese Pde Forster has an amazing array of recycled clothes
- Tuncurry: - Mega giant Pelican watching at boat ramp just turn left over the town bridge.
- Rockpool café with lovely netted beach pool, walk along path to awesome surf beach.
- Fine dining Hamilton’s Oyster Bar Tuncurry, also takeaway Oysters (also in Forster)
- Nabiac: - Coffee & lunch (Greenhouse Café) & shopping at Nabiac quirky village
- Yoga classes at various venues. Vickie’s Yoga of the Heart can be recommended.
